I've had the immense privilege to call Indonesia home for the past couple of years .

It is the world's largest island country , with more than 17.000 islands .

So island hoping has been a recurring activity, that has brought me non stop inspiration .

Last month , I embarked on a 30 meter Indonesian sail boat for a magical journey into what we call the " last paradise" , Raja ampat .

Situated in West Papua Province, it offers spectacular wonders above and beyond its waters, as well as on land and amidst the thick jungles.

Covering 9.8 million acres of land and sea, home to 540 types of corals, more than 1,000 types of coral fish and 700 types of mollusks. This makes it the most diverse living library for world's coral reef and underwater biota.

According to a report developed by The Nature Conservancy , around 75% of the world's species live here!

Those islands offer some of the most spectacular sceneries on the face of the earth.

I got to dive every day, I had encounters with Schools of Tuna fish, giant trevallies, snappers, batfish, barracudas , sharks , turtles and so on.

The most memorable moment of all was dancing with a very large Manta ray, she seemed to lead the most gracious underwater dance as I am above her and I mirror every single of her turn and swirl, I truly believe she was communicating with me through movement .

Every sun down , we ended up the day saying thanks to mother nature for what she offered to us .

Breath taking beauty surrounding me , as I felt perfectly tuned in to the universe , I led 10 beautiful souls into a yoga dance , their own dance , the dance of their soul .

Far far away from distractions , noises , conditioning , judgment , together we reached FREEDOM.

All is connected, at least in my creative world.

All is cause and effect .

Often people ask me where do I get my inspiration from? It is a question a bit difficult to answer as my head seems to constantly boil with new ideas.. But here is a little story that can actually answer this question. A bit over a  year ago, after moving from  Bali jungle to Bali beaches ,  where surf is everywhere , I decided to learn how to surf. Surf is way beyond  a sport, it is a philosophy , a lifestyle, an intense love story with the ocean. So here I was, just after a few session, hooked … So not only I learned how to feel, understand and dance with waves, but I also got very inspired in my jewelry creations. See below a few images that will show you how my surf jewelry line came to life . We love “PROCESS”! Enjoy
